  • Use any yarn or pattern you'd like as
    long as it's machine washable
  • No bells, buttons, ties, ribbons, bows,

    may be a choking hazard.

We are happy to announce the Knit Pickings Charity Group.  We
invite you to join us on Thursdays at 10:00 A.M.  to make some
wonderful items for great causes.

Operation Helmet Liner:
For our men and women in the Armed Forces fighting abroad.  
Helmet liners protect our troops from the elements

Project Linus:
Provide a new, handmade blanket that will be given as a gift to a
seriously ill or traumatized child (ages 0-18).

The Ships Project:
Knit items like hats and slippers for our troops.

Socks For Soldiers:
Show love and support to our soldiers overseas by knitting a warm
pair of socks.  

The Knit Pickings Charity Group is non-instructional, but will
however, provide the guidelines for all of the charitable options listed
above.
